Project Name: R63 Traffic Circles

Project Description:
The construction of traffic circles, roads, and stormwater systems for the R63 road project aimed to improve road safety, traffic flow, and stormwater management. Traffic circles were strategically implemented at key intersections to reduce congestion and accidents, enhancing the efficiency of traffic movement. In addition, the road infrastructure was upgraded with resurfacing, and reinforcing key sections of the R63, ensuring it could handle increased traffic volumes.

The stormwater management system was carefully designed to handle runoff and prevent flooding, incorporating culverts, retention ponds, and stormwater channels. These systems work in conjunction with the road layout to maintain safety during heavy rainfall. The construction was carried out using high-quality materials and advanced techniques, ensuring long-term durability and sustainability. The project was completed with minimal disruption, resulting in a safer, more efficient R63 road with improved traffic management and stormwater control.

Project Name: D1382 P63/1 Road Repair

Project Description:
The rehabilitation, repair, and resealing of Road D1382 and P63/1, extending from K8 in Brits through Letlhabile to the villages of Lerulaneng, involved a thorough assessment and restoration of the road’s structural integrity. The project began with repairs to the road base and substructure, addressing wear, surface damage, and structural deterioration. Following this, the road surface was resealed using high-quality bituminous materials to enhance smoothness, durability, and resistance to weathering and traffic load, while also repairing cracks, potholes, and erosion-prone areas.

In addition to surface repairs, the project upgraded the road's drainage systems to prevent water accumulation and reduce the risk of erosion and surface damage. Enhanced road safety features, including road markings were also incorporated. The rehabilitation of these roads improved connectivity between Brits, Letlhabile, and Lerulaneng, providing safer, more reliable access for local communities and commuters while ensuring minimal disruption during the construction process.
